It was another hot summer day in Wahoo, Nebraska for Kris and Cassie's intimate lake wedding. I first arrived at their house to take photos of everyone getting ready. Laughter was in the air and I could tell this family was very close with one another. I made sure to get the dogs involved as a dog lover myself! Here is one of Cassie's dogs with her wedding shoes in the foreground.
The couple honored their faith with a cross as a wedding arbor.
This might have been the most emotional ceremony I've ever witnessed. The bride, groom and family members cried lots of tears of happiness during it. I must admit I got a bit emotional myself just watching it.
I loved using this beautiful backdrop of a field of yellow flowers for some couple portraits after the ceremony.
This kid cracked me up! He kept telling me to take a picture of him and finally struck this pose before his mom told him to cut it out.
The groom's brother really got into the song "Bye Bye Bye" by *NSYNC when the DJ played it!
All tuckered out from a big night of dancing! Thank you so much Kris and Cassie for the positive vibes and the opportunity to capture your special day!
